Spiritual Guidance

I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
                           Hebrews 13:5
Even when fear or stress challenges you, you
need never deal with it single-handedly, if
Jesus rules your life. When your life seems in
shambles around you, He offers strength and
comfort for a hurting heart. God never gives
up on you. His love cannot change. Today,
delight in the One who never deserts you.

She doesn't worry about her family
when it snows; their winter clothes
are all mended and ready to wear.
                Proverbs 31:21
While trying to enjoy today, the worry bug
pesters you about tomorrow, reminding you
of yesterday's unpleasantness. But planning
ahead stops that worry bug's incessant
buzzing. Think about what you might need
in order to survive your next season. Then
make a plan to take care of the things
you can. Of course, surprises will come,
but because you've done what is in your
personal power to do, you can rest and trust
that you and God will face the unexpected

Lord, I don't want to be a quitter;
but I've tried so hard to be like You,
and I keep messing up.
I know You said that with You
all things are possible,
and I need to be reminded of that daily.
Don't let me give up.
Help me to remember that
You aren't finished with me yet.
